Changelog0.10.0

Changed

Changed in fragcap 0.10.0.

fragcap targets now places handle-sorted ready targets before a separate setup-needed group, omits empty groups, keeps one continuous snapshot-backed row sequence, and never recommends setup while a ready target exists. Each group sizes its own table without truncating target or evidence values, while target export and stable identity remain unchanged.

Deep Capture's stable Rust API can now derive deterministic, read-only calibration case proposals from a resolved target, supplied process state, exact compatibility evidence, and observed protocol candidates. Proposals distinguish strict launch topology and warm or uncertain states, put reachability before protocol work, and explain every useful retest without applying effects.

Operators can now run fragcap calibrate for an existing target. It uses current process and compatibility facts to run at most one exact, fully authorized reachability measurement or report a durable ready, warm, or refused next step without session effects. Generated next commands preserve the effective local store with safe PowerShell quoting, and post-session completion requires the same limitation-free ready launch case that was attempted.

fragcap calibrate now accepts repeatable concrete --protocol measurement requests after current exact reachability, runs at most one separately authorized protocol attempt per invocation, and reports requested, observed, completed, and remaining coverage with a parseable continuation command.

fragcap calibrate can now discover and confirmation-gate registration of one exact installed Steam target after a clean stored-target miss. The resulting durable target immediately enters the existing guided calibration proposal, while unresolved launch topology remains an explicit limitation.

  • Let fragcap calibrate offer a separately confirmed Steam client setup when an exact registered Steam target has no launch declaration, then continue existing guidance by durable target identifier.

fragcap calibrate now advances through a bounded sequence of useful reachability and protocol checks in one invocation. Every attempt still displays and requires its own current authorization plan, writes to a distinct bundle, and advances only after fresh exact evidence proves that case succeeded.

fragcap calibrate now creates a durable target-bound workflow and can resume it explicitly with --resume <WORKFLOW_ID>. Resume preserves candidate intent, exact no-repeat history, and attempt numbering while revalidating current target, process, compatibility, recovery, bundle, plan, and confirmation authority before later work. --pause-for records login, EULA, gameplay, shutdown, or interruption work without session effects.

Guided calibration now emits stable content-derived choices for ambiguous discovered targets and Steam executable metadata, accepts one exact candidate, and persists validated launch-case, routing-strategy, and loopback-family intent across resume.

Guided calibration now accepts a separately confirmed exact client choice for an ambiguous non-Steam client-only stored declaration, records update and anti-cheat as durable no-effect pauses, and carries a checked thirteen-criterion controlled acceptance registry in ordinary CI.

Root and related command help now lead through the complete first Deep Capture workflow, group ordinary controls before advanced and sensitive controls, provide parser-checked Steam and direct or publisher examples, and give human pre-session refusals one bounded next command.
